Lawn Mowers

There are so many different types of lawn mowers available that you may find it difficult deciding which one is best for you. The most common mowers are either electric or gas-powered. Each one has its advantages and disadvantages. The electric lawn mower is perfect if you only have a small area to mow. It doesn't pollute the air like a gas mower and it is not as noisy. However if you really want to mow the lawn by expending the least amount fo energy, you should consider the Robo-Mower.

If you have seen the robotic vacuum cleaners that can clean your house while you do something else, the RoboMower works on the same principle. This is an automatic lawn mower and they come in all shapes and sizes. For the most part, though, these mowers are designed for lawns measuring an acre or less. They run on batteries and need to be recharged every 24 hours, depending on the model and brand.

You don't have to push or ride one of these mowers. You can set it to work and sit back on the patio and watch it mow the lawn for you. You use a remote control to direct it around the lawn much the same as you would with a remote control toy. It will run for about 2 hours on the battery. If you have more up-to-date mower, then you can run the wires around the perimeter of the lawn and start it going. It will mow around the outer edges first gradually moving in closer and closer. When the lawn is all finished, the RoboMower will return to the base. You can even set these mowers on a timer, so that they automatically start mowing when you're not even home.
